Vincent Enyeama Finally Concedes A Goal

Nigerian and Lille Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has finally conceded a goal in this afternoon's 1-0 defeat at Bordeaux. The 31 year old was beaten in the 27th minute of the game by Cameroon International Landry N'Guemo, after keeping ELEVEN consecutive clean-sheets. That goal now means Enyeama mustered a total of 1062 minutes without picking the ball from the back of his own net.

The Super Eagles guardian angel however will be disappointed in the fact that he couldn't beat Bordeaux's Gaëtan Huard's record of 1,176 minutes ( 13 matches) without conceding a goal in the 92/93 season, But he can hold his head up high after an invincible couple of months which also saw him claim the French Ligue 1 player of the month for November.

His safe pair of hands also saw him sign a contract yesterday, that will extend his stay at his French club till 2017.
