Team News
Chelsea
- Chelsea have no injury worries for the visit of rivals Fulham, but that means selection headaches for Jose Mourinho given the depth of his squad.
- Samuel Eto'o might struggle to hold on to his place in the starting lineup after poor performances in the losses to Everton and Basel in the last week, but Mourinho could persist with the Cameroonian.
- Ramires was suspended in midweek, and he should return to midfield, while Kevin De Bruyne could be back in the lineup as well.
Fulham
- Fulham could have serious problems in attack, with Bryan Ruiz ruled out with an ankle injury that is still being assessed but may yet prove to be serious.
- Dimitar Berbatov came off after 77 minutes of the draw with West Brom with a hamstring injury but may be back for this game.
- Darren Bent has recovered in time to return but Stekelenberg, Briggs and Hughes are all out.

Prediction
- On the face of it, Chelsea's record of 7 points from their first 4 games looks rather impressive, but given that it is their worst start to a Premier League season in the Abramovich era - and after the loss against Basel in the Champions League - the Blues are in need of a win here.
- They have only won 1 of their last 6 meetings with Fulham in all competitions (excluding penalties), but will be favourites to take all 3 points here.
- Fulham should have had the game against West Brom sewn up by the time they conceded a 90th minute equaliser but were made to pay in the end. They looked dangerous going forwards and provided they have star man Dimitar Berbatov back they could cause Chelsea some problems. However, the home side should simply be too strong and thus win this game despite successive losses.
