Kanu, has taken another giant step towards the realization of his Cardiac Hospital
project which was officially launched in Abuja on March 14, 2013.
Through his pet Charity organization, Kanu Heart Foundation, KHF, the former Arsenal of London forward has floated what he called ‘Heal-A-Heart’ Lottery which will run for 12 months with an estimated income of N100m per month with a total financial income of N1billion to fast-track the building of the Cardiac Hospital in Abuja.
The project which takes off this August has a star prize of a Kia Car per month with laptops, Ipads, Smart phones and Kanu Nwankwo’s clubs customized jerseys as consolation prizes.
Executive Secretary of the Kanu Heart Foundation, KHF, Onyebuchi Abia explained that the realization of the Cardic Hospital was important to the one-time Inter Milan striker who is also a UNICEF Ambassador- hence, exploration of several avenues to raise funds.
