Something happened today and i was forced to indulge in a research for the SORT CODES for
banks in Nigeria. I wanted to link and online account to my back
account for money transfer (wire transfer) and on the process of
completing my payment form, i was asked to insert my BANK’s sort code?? i
was confused because i never knew what sort codes were used for.
Therefore i was forced to engage on a journey of endless findings and on
the course i found these sort codes below and decided to include it to
this platform for documentary purposes.
I didn’t only copy out my bank sort code,
i also wanted to know the full meaning of sort code and what it’s all
about. Today i will show you the meaning of SORT CODES and as well give
you the sort code of Every Nigerian Bank.
This i guess will help you when filling out certain online Money related forms.
WHAT IS SORT CODE?
Sort code can be defined as a name given
by both the British and Irish banking industry to a bank; codes that are
used to route money transfers between banks within their respective
countries via their respective clearance organisations.
