Barcelona and Real Madrid are topping in the latest rank of social media of sports club in the world, according to Forbes.
Forbes released its annual ranking of the world’s 50 most valuable sports teams. European football clubs dominated the list, so also clubs in the U.S.
Spanish champions, Barcelona, have the biggest social media followers with over 60 million Facebook fans and Twitter followers.
Nine times and thirty-two La Liga winners Real Madrid rank second with close to fifty million Facebook fans and Twitter followers.
English premier league (EPL) champion Manchester United is third on the rank.
The English side has over thirty four million fans and followers on Facebook and Twitter.
European Club holders Chelsea and Los Angeles Lakers are fourth and fifth in the ranking.
Chelsea has twenty million Facebook fans and Twitter followers. Over nineteen million Facebook fans and Twitter followers are trailing the U.S Los Angeles Lakers.
Overall, Soccer dominated the list, with 207 million total fans almost four times that of the NFL and ten times that of baseball.
