The memorial service for late South African president Nelson Mandela held today at the FNB stadium in Johannesburg.
Highlights of the event included US President Barack Obama’s eulogy and his epic handshake with Cuba’s Raul Castro.
Barack Obama paid tribute to anti-apartheid icon, saying ‘We will never see the likes of Nelson Mandela again’. He was joined by ex-Presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter at the ceremony.
South African president Jacob Zuma was repeatedly booed by the crowd while Obama and Robert Mugabe are cheered.
