After the release of the Galaxy Foamposites, two brothers Thierry and
Kevin Mofo, placed the elusive kicks on EBay. The first time Ebay-ers,
from Quebec, were shocked to find somebody had placed a whopping $96,750
bid on the kicks. Before the Canadian duo had a chance to find out if
the buyer was good for the money, Ebay pulled the auction, claiming the
first time sellers didn't qualify to sell them. What does that even
mean?
Luckily enough, the brothers won an appeal against the
online retail giant, and a trial will ensue in 2015. They stand to make a
hefty profit from their initial $270+ investment, albeit 3 years after
the fact.
