Google invested $ 80 million in 6 solar power plants in the U.S.

Google recently said that the company is investing $ 80 million in 6 factories solar power in the state of California and Arizona new. Google this project by working with investment firm KKR and solution developers Solar Energy recurrent. After completion early next year, the plant has a total capacity of 106MW and will generate enough electricity for 17,000 households in the United States.

Google will use this power for their own operations as well as sales for the company needs. Currently 33% of the energy that comes from Google is using renewable sources and is the company aims to increase this figure to 100% in the future. This is the 14th time that Google invest in clean energy projects and from 2010 until now, Google has spent more than $ 1 billion for this.
