The National Executive Council of
the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU is currently holding a secret meeting in
Kano at an undisclosed location.
A source who spoke to our reporter
on condition of anonymity said it is possible that the union of University lecturers will call off its
over-four-month-old strike tomorrow.
Daily Trust reports that the members
of the National Executive Council of ASUU parked their cars in Bayero University, BUK Kano’s oldsite and
entered a PTF coaster bus to an undisclosed location where the NEC meeting is
going on currently.
