  • Mathieu Flamini is out after clashing heads with Alexander Tettey at the weekend and the Frenchman will be replaced in the starting XI by man of the moment Aaron Ramsey.
  • Meanwhile both Cazorla and Sagna were fit enough to start against Norwich.
  • Club captain Thomas Vermaelen continues to miss out with the pairing of Koscielny and Mertesacker preferred at the back.
Borussia Dortmund
  • Mats Hummels missed out on the league victory over Hannover through suspension but is back available to replace Sokratis in defence.
  • Marcel Schmelzer was fit enough to make the bench last time out and Klopp must decide whether to bring him back into the side or stick with youngster Erik Durm at left-back, who has impressed in his absence.
  • The manager will have to take a watching brief from the stands having picked up a suspension for confronting the fourth official against Napoli.

  • In undoubtedly one of the games of the round an in form Arsenal side will look to extend their lead at the top of group F against a Dortmund side that will hope to exploit their pace on the counter.
  • With two teams that look to play attractive, attacking football this should be a really entertaining game with plenty of action at both ends of the pitch.
