The couple has been experiencing numerous problems lately, all stemming from Lamar's alleged crack habit and several alleged instances of infidelity; and now insiders say Khloe is beginning to accept that the end of her marriage is near.
"She just doesn't know if she can work this out," a friend tells People magazine.
"It doesn't seem like a reconciliation is any closer to happening. It's like the situation is just too far gone at this point for a split to be anything but unavoidable," another insider told the magazine.
Khloe kicked Lamar out of their home back in August, and on Thursday the basketball player showed up to discuss their relationship. He was reportedly there for hours and ultimately left.
Khloe is still wearing her wedding ring, however last week she dropped "Odom" from her name on her Twitter profile. She also is said to have called Lamar on their wedding anniversary, September 27, to let him know she planned to file for divorce.
But on Wednesday she used the hashtag "#KKO" in a Twitter post that read, "Promise me u'll always remember: u're braver than u believe. I am brave because of u. The love
u gave made me brave. All we need is love#KKO."
