VIDEO: Sarkodie – ‘I gave birth to Azonto’

Well this might spark up some controversy – Sarkodie is claiming to have created the music sub-genre Azonto.

In a recent interview out in the UK, the Ghanaian rapper stated that he ‘gave birth’ to the Azonto sound while creating his smash hit record ‘U go kill me’ which features rapper/producer E.L.

He however does not take credit to the dance move, explaining that it was incorporated in his music by Ghanaian music lovers.
