Jay Z’s involvement with the Brooklyn Nets is officially coming to a close. After recently unloading his stake in the team to new head coach Jason Kidd, the Roc Nation mogul has now also sold his minimal share of the Barclays center in Brooklyn.
Although it was “only” one-fifth of a percentage, the value was $1.5 million, as reported by Forbes. Jay sold one-fifteenth of a percent of the team to J Kidd for $500,000 as the team is value at around $750 million.
Both
the relinquishing of his team and arena ownership comes after Jigga
began his foray into sports agency with Roc Nation Sports which already
has signed Kevin Durant.
